YHA launches new Explorer App

YHA Australia is making travel easy with the launch of the new YHA Explorer App, letting YHA members effortlessly discover, book and manage stays while connecting with other travellers and making the most of their YHA membership.

The app brings the benefits of being part of the YHA community to life by showcasing our incredible properties, offering discounts, facilitating connections and highlighting fun social experiences in each of our locations.” said YHA Australia CEO, Paul McGrath.

The Explorer App is the easiest place to find and book YHA accommodation around Australia.

Members who book through the app receive an immediate 10% discount at YHA properties and earn an additional 1% discount with every subsequent stay, up to a maximum of 15%.



During their stay, travellers using the app will also receive a 10% discount on food and drinks at YHAs, including the rooftop bar at YHA Sydney Harbour with expansive views, and the various cafes and kiosks across the YHA network offering barista-made coffee and snacks for taking on the go.

Travellers will also benefit from premium Wi-Fi through the app so that they can connect, stream, game or work during their stay more easily than ever before.

The app also helps travellers connect and find community by browsing all the fun YHA-hosted social events, cultural activities and things to do at each location.

The YHA Explorer App is available now for download on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
