YHA network update
Unfortunately, we no longer manage bookings for this location as this property is no longer part of the YHA Australia network.
Between March and May 2025, YHA Australia will be transitioning to a fully owned and operated network, reducing the total number of properties from 37 to 19.
Why has the YHA network changed?
Previously YHA had a network of owned and operated, as well as associate and affiliate properties. Recently, YHA has consolidated its network to focus on the 19 properties owned and operated by YHA. This change is part of a broader strategy to ensure a consistently high-quality experience for our members.

The consolidation is part of a broader evolution as YHA adapts to meet the changing expectations of its diverse member base. This includes:
- Major renovations at YHA Sydney Central, YHA Sydney Harbour, YHA Thredbo and YHA Brisbane City
- New service and operational standards to enhance guest experience.
- Expanded food and beverage offerings, with more in-house cafés, bars and catering services.
- A brand-new Sydney property, set to open in late 2026.
