Here at Sydney Harbour YHA, as part of TED's Countdown event we gathered some inspiring local businesses to tell their sustainability stories.
In October 2020 TED started a year long countdown to the October 2021 UN Climate Change Conference. At the end of the year’s countdown TED will be collaborating their knowledge and sharing a blueprint of what a zero carbon future looks like to the conference participants.
They launched their countdown with a week of TEDx events held all around the world. TED are encouraging businesses and individuals alike to create their own TEDx events to help spread the word and build momentum for actions that can be taken towards a more sustainable future.
At Sydney Harbour YHA we gathered some inspiring local businesses to tell their own sustainability stories and held a virtual watch party for a selection of TED talks that have been created specifically for the Countdown.
