Our Melbourne properties have continued to take care of guests throughout lockdown, ensuring that they have been provided with a safe place to stay if unable to return to homes. Working throughout the lockdown - the crew masked up and stepped up to do whatever has been needed to be done; sharing extra safety reporting, housekeeping and deep cleaning tasks needed to keep the hostel covid safe. Some of the amazing YHA crew have even moved into the hostels, or switched locations, to be on-call working around the clock - as well as trying their hands at cake baking and any number of other guest morale boosters.

A special mention to Melbourne Central YHA Manager Simone who was featured by @masksandmakersmelbourne, an Instagram page documenting the history of the world as we know it and focusing on the people of Melbourne.

HALLS GAP - GRAMPIANS ECO YHA

Kellie & Gary were over the moon when restrictions for regional Victorians lifted allowing them to welcome guests once again to their stylish and comfortable eco-certified hostel on the outskirts of the stunning Grampians National Park. As you can see from the pictures, Kellie has been very crafty throughout lockdown, crocheting various items charity and some lucky friends. 

APOLLO BAY ECO YHA
