Located just opposite Newcastle Beach and right in the centre of town, this YHA is perfect for groups looking for comfortable, safe and affordable accommodation. The property has a variety of multi-share and private rooms and great communal areas. We can accommodate groups of up to 60 people.
Multi-share rooms
YHA Newcastle Beach has a large variety of co-living rooms for your group to stay in. We can accommodate groups in 4, 6, 8 and 10 share rooms. 8 and 10 share rooms have ensuite bathrooms whereas the 4 and 6 share rooms use the communal bathrooms. Each room includes linen and lockers. Towels are not available for hire, please bring your own.
Private rooms
We also have a number of private rooms available for your group to choose from if you prefer a little more privacy. Choose from a single room or a twin/double room. Each room includes linen and TV.

- 24 hour access with Reception staffed 8am – 9pm every day (night supervisor available out of hours)

- Staff members are available 24/7 to help with any issues or emergencies
- All of our staff are trained and capable of handling any emergency situations that may arise
- Your group will be allocated separate bedrooms and you will not share any rooms with other guests that are not in your group.
- Group leaders will be allocated separate rooms to anyone under the age of 18, unless otherwise requested
- We will allocate your rooms as close as possible to each other, to enable easy supervision of your group

Fantastic location and a lovely feeling of space in this grand old building. Close to public transport. If you love walking highly recommend doing Glenrock Reserve thru to Burwood beach.
